Niek van den Adel 11:40 - 12:10 Break out session 4 In Dutch

How to become a resilient leader within your organization

As a resilient leadership speaker, Niek demonstrates that every transformation begins with the leader themselves. Not by pushing harder, but by connecting more strongly. A resilient leader knows themselves well, knows their values, and knows how to provide loving and clear direction.

In agile organizations, culture is central. Leaders create that culture through exemplary behavior, clear communication, and the ability to make people feel part of something bigger. How do you prioritize resilience in your organization, facilitate growth, and encourage ownership? Niek shows you.

About the session

The term "resilient leadership" suggests that leaders are primarily intended to guide employees through change. But the role of a leader goes much further. From his perspective, which centers on love, resilience, and nature, Niek demonstrates how leaders themselves become role models of agility and humanity.

In his inspiring and practical keynote, Niek answers questions such as:

  • How do you use your influence on yourself and your environment?

  • How do you keep yourself and your employees focused on your mission?

  • How do you build agile teams where you are the inspiration and driving force?

  • What does a team need from you before, during, and after change?

  • How do you remain future-proof and take ownership of the future?

About the speaker

For many people, it sounds strange to celebrate a spinal cord injury every year but not for Niek. As a speaker, he speaks openly about the moment that changed his life and ultimately gave direction to his mission. He is building toward a society in which love, resilience, and connection form the foundation.

In July 16, 2010, everything came to a sudden halt due to a motorcycle accident. The spinal cord injury and syringomyelia were life-altering, yet they also became the starting point of a life centered on meaning, humanity, and growth.
